Silken Strands was a long-held dream before it officially launched. With a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and Textiles and Clothing and a career in retail management, I have always been passionate about the fashion industry. However, the brand truly took shape in late 2015 following the loss of my two eldest sisters. Devoting my time and energy to creating our first five styles helped me navigate that period of grief, providing a creative escape that eventually lead me to creating everyday fashionable clothing with timeless appeal.

Quality and craftsmanship are the foundations of our business. Each collection features natural fabrics, wider seam allowances, French seaming, shorter stitches per inch, and natural or covered buttons. To keep our designs unique, we regularly incorporate unusual fabrics and prints. We are also proud to say that all our products are made in the USA.
